In today’s world of thriving technology, it’s hard to peel a cell phone out of someone’s fingers. It’s even harder to get them logged out of their preferred social media platform. With over 2.3 billion active social media users around the world, it can be hard to find others wanting to spend time in person.
If there’s one generation breaking the mold, it’s Millennials. Born between the years of 1980 thru 2000, they constantly attract the attention of the media through their job-hopping habits, their diversity and their high levels of education. Being the most studied generation in history, Millennials have a different outlook on life than previous generations and are gearing up to change the spending habits of our current economy.
Every amenity in a multifamily community should add value and make life enjoyable. Amenities shouldn’t be an eyesore; they should be inviting, exciting, and easy to use. Each Package Concierge we deliver is both an asset and accent for communities. We don’t just drop off an assembled locker system and drive away. We’ve created a dedicated installation process, which complements the community’s surroundings. Since every community is different, every Package Concierge is unique and tailor-made. This bespoke approach to package management isn’t the easiest, but every community deserves it and the installation is what makes the difference.
Putting your expertise on display is a great way to spread awareness. For us, we try to attend as many events as possible to not only spread the name of Package Concierge but to show the world what we have to offer. We’ve attended many events in the past, but we’re especially excited for our next event coming up. On April 6th, Package Concierge will be attending PMEXPO 2016 in Washington D.C.
Let’s take a trip to the Centennial State, also known as Colorado. Known for its stunning mountains and fresh air, Denver, Colorado is a booming tech center. Whether it’s taking a stroll down the Denver Beer Trail or chasing an adrenaline buzz in the man-made kayak chutes of Confluence Park, there’s something for everyone in the mile high city. With so much to see and do in the bustling metropolis, it makes sense for anyone interested in experiencing all Denver has to offer should live in the heart of the city so all is easily accessible. One community offers the mountain views and downtown city lights in one package: Via Denver.
The world moves faster than ever since the rapid evolution of technology. From the rise of artificial intelligence to sneakers that can finally self-lace, we don’t have the time to complete the tasks we once took time to do. For Package Concierge, our streamlining life solution lies in our locker systems. Taking the stress out of package delivery is what we’re known for and what we’ve delivered nationwide. However, Package Concierge isn’t just about packages deliveries. We’re regularly pursuing ways to make our high quality lockers more utilitarian, lockers that support dry cleaning delivery is another step towards making life easier.
Recently, Package Concierge entered a thrilling chapter in our company’s story. We’re excited to let all of our friends and partners know that we’re now in 26 states across America! This is big news for us, especially since we’ve only been a company since December 2012. Even though our expansion across the country has been fast, we’d like to let everyone know that the credit goes to our amazing clients who believed in us early on such as Alliance Residential, The Bozzuto Group and The JBG Companies, and partners like Florence Manufacturing and The Container Store. When you think about it, our growth is great for everyone. Here are a few reasons why.
In this week’s blog, we would like to give recognition where recognition is due. When the ideals of superior customer service, innovative industry leadership, and passion for community-based values are the heart of your business model, Package Concierge takes notice. The company that is the literal definition of this is The Bozzuto Group and Bozzuto Management Company (Bozzuto).
What are you going to do with this extra day of the year? We have arrived at another intercalary year; better known as leap year. But when you think about it, this year renters receive an extra day in their properties for FREE! That’s right! So whom do we need to thank for this extra day of multifamily living? That answer goes back farther than you may realize.
Our latest client spotlight is host to some of the most scenic views of any property we’ve featured. Central Park at Whisman Station is located in Mountain View, California. The vistas of the Santa Cruz Mountains compliment this luxurious multifamily property and create a beautiful landscape of the surrounding area
At Package Concierge, we value our customers 365 days a year, but on Valentine’s Day, we like to show a little extra love. Last week, you may have noticed a lot of twitter pated people receiving packages from love birds near and far. For example, Ten Faxon (a Greystar property) and the Allegro (a Bozzuto property) saw close to double the amount of deliveries when compared to the week before. Here are some interesting facts and statistics about Valentine’s Day that might make you rethink the significance of packages on February 14th.
This Package Concierge client spotlight takes us to the left coast. The Lorenzo, a new upscale student housing community located in Los Angeles, California occupies some prime real estate in the heart of the LA scene. The Lorenzo community offers USC students an upscale alternative to on-campus living while providing convenient access to venues such as LA Live and the Staples Center; it’s also the largest luxury student housing community in the U.S.
As we continue to showcase the multifamily properties of our clients, this spotlight blog is all about a “peachy” location; the Alexan on Krog, a Greystar property located in Atlanta, Georgia introduces itself by inviting you to, “Live Where the Beltway Meets Badass Restaurants and More-Than-Mainstream Merchants at the Market.”
The mission behind Package Concierge isn’t just about providing a convenient solution to package management; it’s also about providing a solution that is safe and secure. When your packages are in one of our systems, it’s important to know that the highest quality hardware and software are storing your deliveries. In this blog, we’d like to briefly touch upon the security features in our lockers that keep your packages safe awaiting your retrieval.
Let’s face it. The world of multifamily is changing faster than ever and the needs of residents change as well. This isn’t a bad thing at all! The National Multifamily Housing Council in conjunction with Kingsley Associates recently put together a very insightful infographic highlighting the changes and trends in communities nationwide. You may be surprised by some of the findings!
This year, Package Concierge will showcase a few of our clients and how we’ve been able to work together in solving their package management needs. For our first client spotlight blog, we’re highlighting the luxurious Midtown Green Apartments, a beautiful apartment community embracing a perfect blend of Southern charm and modern sophistication.
Where does the time go? Time flies, and while 2015 was chock full of excitement and accomplished milestones, we have plans to make 2016 even bigger! New Year’s resolutions aren’t just for individuals; we’ve set some company goals at Package Concierge that we’re working towards everyday. Here they are in no particular order:
2015 has been a stellar year for Package Concierge. We reached a personal milestone of 1 million package transactions without a service call; we began developing industry leading technologies such as our mobile application and becoming the first locker solution to offer both shipping and returns; and we received major publicity through the Today Show on NBC. These accomplishments haven’t been easy but as a leader in our industry we strive to set standards and trends. We have A LOT to be thankful for and we wanted to share this with all of our partners and readers.
It’s not often that hard work and dedication gets recognized. In some ways, it shouldn’t; if a job is done well and correctly, no one should notice. However, there are a few exceptions to the rule where going the extra mile is recognized. Recently (as in very recently) Package Concierge was announced as a recipient of the 2015 Customer Experience Innovation Awards. We won this award thanks to our innovative use of Salesforce Sales Cloud to keep our sales processes aligned and help us put our customers at the center of everything we do. We’re very proud to be recognized as a leader in serving our clients and customers, but it wouldn’t be possible without them.
Knowing what’s happening currently within your industry is incredibly important, but knowing what the future may hold is just as valuable. For us, the opportunity to learn more about both came in the form of NMHC OpTech – the premiere conference and expo showcasing the next big things in multifamily.
Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of media focused on the question of whether properties should continue to accept package deliveries – a task that requires time, energy, and resources that could be spent more effectively in other areas of the business.
Observer Park gives residents the ability to enjoy the perks of New York from the perspective of a tree-lined street across the Hudson River. Its 115 units receive an average of 150 packages a week, with that number climbing higher during peak delivery times. With only a small office to store and sort deliveries, the community’s two-person leasing staff dealt with space constraints for package storage and spent too many staff hours receiving, logging, storing and retrieving packages.
Did you know that according to statistics analyzed by Package Concierge almost 40% of packages are delivered by the United States Postal Service? As the sheer number of packages being delivered to apartments continues to grow, an apartment manager’s relationship with their local Postmaster has become more and more important.
Cambridge Oxford is adjacent to Yale University and caters to a large student population. Because many students don’t have vehicles, they shop online for even basic necessities. As a result, property management was challenged by an inordinately high number of package deliveries on a daily basis.
